De Mills presidency end on 24 July 2012 wey Presido John Atta Mills die as he get small illness.^[2] Ebe ein vice presido, John Dramani Mahama wey come succeed Mills as edey Ghana ein constitution.^[3]

John Mahama swear come office dah same day by de Chief Justice of Ghana den he continue plus most of the ministers from dis government. De change happened just months before de 2012 Ghanaian general election schedule for December 2012.^[4]
